Our Native Neighbors

Great Horned Owls thrive in the diverse ecosystems of our native forests and wetlands. We protect these habitats to ensure the survival of our raptor ambassadors and the intricate web of life they support.

A Journey of Survival

Luna was rescued after sustaining significant ocular and wing injuries during a collision with a vehicle. Due to the severity of these injuries, she is currently non-releasable, requiring specialized medical care and rehabilitation to ensure her long-term survival and recovery.

Throwing food scraps from your car window is a major threat. These scraps attract small mammals, which are the primary prey for our Great Horned Owls. By keeping the roads clean, we protect the local ecosystem.
